About the role:

Own Double Good's education segment end to end. Grow awareness of Double Good across schools and education organizations, win the large-scale partnerships that bring whole networks of schools to us, and increase the number of education fundraisers run on our platform.

Responsibilities:

Segment strategy

Build and own the education growth plan, with a clear monthly and weekly operating rhythm

Identify and prioritize regional, state, and national partners and own the plan to win them

Own the Donate Joy program and the seeding and outreach strategy for education, including who receives popcorn, the personas and messaging we use, and how we follow up

Time every motion to the education buying calendar, including the summer conference and planning season, so our outreach reaches decision makers before they commit their fundraising

Partnership prospecting and relationship building

Add new partnership leads to the top of the funnel every week and move deals through each stage

Win the organizations that influence many schools at once: statewide PTAs, national education organizations, school leader associations, and district networks

Own the relationship, contracting, and renewal for our largest education partners, including taking over existing relationships and growing them

Events

Run the ROI analysis for education events and conferences and decide which ones we attend

Set the lead collection plan and goal for each event, and own conversion after the event

Attend the events that matter most and build relationships with influential decision makers at each

Key organizer relationships

Personally work with the segment's top organizers, in partnership with Customer Success, to provide expert fundraising support and bring back what we learn

Market insights and thought leadership

Report quarterly on competitors, school participation trends, outside investment, education association changes, and vendor activity

Track leadership changes at partner organizations

Be the visible face of Double Good in education through speaking, social media, podcasts, and customer success stories

Team leadership

Direct and coach the Market Development Manager, delegating event logistics and administrative projects and reviewing outreach sequence copy

Work closely with Marketing, Revenue Operations, and Customer Success to run the education plan
