ABOUT THE ROLE

Join an early-stage AI supply chain software team building reliable connections between its platform and customers' operational systems. You'll own integrations that bring customer data into the platform and safely write decisions back to systems of record.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Build and maintain integrations with ERPs, data warehouses, object storage, FTP sources, and custom systems.
  • Design reliable, near-real-time syncs that process large volumes of customer data without manual intervention.
  • Develop connectors that account for external API behavior, authentication, rate limits, pagination, and undocumented quirks.
  • Test complete read, update, and write workflows to prevent data loss.
  • Validate and reconcile data, and build monitoring and alerting to identify and triage failures.
  • Work directly with customer operators and IT teams, owning integration scoping, delivery, and ongoing operations.
  • Improve the integration layer so new data sources can be connected through configuration where practical.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • At least 3 years of production experience building Python data pipelines and integrations.
  • Hands-on experience with Python, FastAPI, SQLAlchemy, Pydantic, and third-party REST, SOAP, or query-language APIs.
  • Advanced SQL skills, including high-performance queries and bulk upserts at scale.
  • Experience designing idempotent, re-runnable pipelines with clear validation and schema boundaries.
  • Experience with safe write paths, dry runs, audit trails, structured logging, sync tracking, and alerting.
  • Experience with a data warehouse such as Snowflake, Databricks, or BigQuery, and a background task orchestration framework.
  • Comfort working directly with customers and owning integration operations. NetSuite, AWS, legacy ERP, and unstructured data experience are helpful.
