Who this role is best for

Integration engineers with Oracle ERP experience and a client-facing background will find this remote-friendly, technically demanding role with a global footprint.

Best fit for

  • Professionals who can adapt to both cloud and on-premise environments and have a strong grasp of purchase-to-pay processes.
    — “A good understanding of purchase-to-pay data in Oracle ERPs: suppliers, purchase orders, receipts and supplier invoice matching.”
  • Individuals with a structured approach and the ability to independently resolve complex integration issues.
    — “you deliver and maintain integrations and resolve issues independently, with guidance on architecture decisions.”

Things to consider

  • Remote work is possible but requires regular in-office presence in Zurich for those based in Europe.
    — “hybrid with 3+ office days per week, or remotely from anywhere in Europe.”
  • The role demands fluency in English, with German being an added advantage for DACH region customers.
    — “Fluent English. German is a plus, as most of our customers are in the DACH region.”

How to stand out

  • Highlight your experience building and maintaining Oracle ERP integrations, not just using them.
    — “you have built or maintained interfaces yourself, not only used the system as a functional consultant or key user”
  • Emphasize your ability to work across cloud and on-premise environments, including their constraints.
    — “Experience with both cloud (Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite) and on-premise (JD Edwards) environments, and the constraints of each”
  • Showcase your expertise with REST, SOAP, and data formats like JSON and XML in integration projects.
    — “Design and implement interfaces for diverse protocols: REST, SOAP, direct DB access and file transfers.”

Join us and help make autonomous operations the new standard.

ABOUT THE ROLE

BLP only works when it talks to our customers’ ERP systems. As an Integration Engineer, you build and own those connections and keep live integrations running for enterprise customers. Every new ERP system is a new problem to solve. You’ll lead our Oracle integrations across Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite and JD Edwards, while also contributing to other integrations.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Own our integrations with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite and JD Edwards and ensure their market fit, usability and reliability.
  • Design and implement interfaces for diverse protocols: REST, SOAP, direct DB access and file transfers.
  • Explore new ERP systems and determine the best way to connect them.
  • Build new ERP integrations, often in close collaboration with pilot customers.
  • Own existing integrations end to end, including issue resolution, and document them so teammates can pick them up.
  • Enable technical project managers to consult on, install and configure mature integrations.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

  • Hands-on integration experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite or JD Edwards EnterpriseOne, ideally more than one. You have built or maintained interfaces yourself, not only used the system as a functional consultant or key user.
  • Experience with the native interfaces of at least one of these:
  • Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP: REST and SOAP web services, File-Based Data Import (FBDI) through the ERP Integration Service, and data extraction with BI Publisher or BI Cloud Connector (BICC).
  • NetSuite: SuiteTalk REST and SOAP web services, SuiteQL, SuiteScript 2.x (e.g., RESTlets, Map/Reduce scripts), and Token-Based Authentication or OAuth 2.0.
  • JD Edwards EnterpriseOne: AIS Server and Orchestrator, Business Services (BSSV), and Z-file interface tables (e.g., F0411Z1) with their batch processors.
  • A good understanding of purchase-to-pay data in Oracle ERPs: suppliers, purchase orders, receipts and supplier invoice matching.
  • Solid programming skills in at least one backend language. We build our integrations in Go. If you come from Java, C#, Python or similar and are keen to pick up Go, that works for us.
  • A degree in computer science or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • A structured, self-reliant way of working, and ideally experience in a client-facing role.
  • Fluent English. German is a plus, as most of our customers are in the DACH region.

Nice to have:

  • Experience with both cloud (Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite) and on-premise (JD Edwards) environments, and the constraints of each (e.g., no direct database access in Fusion, governance limits in NetSuite).
  • Extensive experience with SQL, common data formats (JSON, XML, CSV) and transports (REST/SOAP APIs, SFTP).
  • Familiarity with modern engineering practices: Git, code reviews, automated testing and CI/CD.
  • Integration experience with other ERPs, such as SAP, Microsoft Dynamics or Infor.

INTEGRATION ENGINEER OR SENIOR INTEGRATION ENGINEER

We hire at both levels. Four things decide where you start: years of experience, breadth of experience, coaching experience and scope.

Integration Engineer

  • Years: 2+ years of hands-on integration work, including Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite or JD Edwards.
  • Breadth: in-depth experience with one Oracle ERP and its interfaces.
  • Coaching: you learn quickly from senior colleagues and share what you learn with the team.
  • Scope: you deliver and maintain integrations and resolve issues independently, with guidance on architecture decisions.

Senior Integration Engineer

  • Years: 5+ years of hands-on integration work, several of them with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, NetSuite or JD Edwards.
  • Breadth: integration experience across two or more of Fusion, NetSuite and JD Edwards, or across Oracle and other ERPs, in cloud and on-premise environments.
  • Coaching: you have coached or mentored other engineers and help technical project managers grow.
  • Scope: you own our Oracle integrations end to end, set technical direction and take on the most complex customer cases.

Why BLP

  • Real impact: your integrations decide whether a customer goes live.
  • Breadth: Oracle, Infor, Microsoft Dynamics and many other ERPs, plus EDI and e-invoicing standards.
  • Growth: fast-tracked growth, with promotions and a bonus scheme that includes company shares.
  • Team: regular team events.

Practical information

  • Location: our Zurich office, hybrid with 3+ office days per week, or remotely from anywhere in Europe.
  • If you work remotely, we pay for regular visits and stays in Zurich.
  • Employment: full-time, permanent.
