Who You Are

You are an iOS SDK engineer who builds code that runs inside other companies’ apps, not someone who mainly builds apps or integrates third-party SDKs. You’ll work on Verve’s HyBid iOS SDK, where the code has to stay lightweight, backward-compatible, and safe in host apps we don’t control. The SDK combines legacy Objective-C with modern Swift, so you’ll work in both every day. The focus is stability, Objective-C/Swift interoperability, framework packaging, and memory and thread safety.

What You Will Do

Develop, maintain, and improve core modules of Verve’s iOS HyBid SDK, with a focus on stability, performance, memory safety, thread safety, and backward compatibility.

Work hands-on with Objective-C and Swift across networking, ad rendering, mediation, tracking, and SDK integration flows.

Build, validate, and maintain SDK packaging and distribution through SPM, CocoaPods, .framework, and .xcframework, and lead the CocoaPods to SPM migration.

Troubleshoot complex SDK issues inside third-party publisher apps, including crashes, memory leaks, threading issues, dependency conflicts, and integration edge cases.

Build and optimize ad rendering and mediation integrations, including AppLovin MAX, SKAdNetwork metadata, privacy manifests, and monetization adapter flows.

Collaborate with Product, Android, QA, and business stakeholders to align cross-platform behavior, maintain automated testing/release workflows, and deliver SDK features reliably

What You Will Bring

6+ years of professional iOS development experience, with hands-on SDK development experience.

Strong recent Objective-C experience, including writing, maintaining, or debugging production Objective-C code.

Strong Swift experience and solid understanding of Swift/Objective-C interoperability.

Experience building SDKs or shared libraries consumed by multiple apps or third-party host applications.

Deep understanding of ARC, GCD, concurrency, memory management, thread safety, and callback handling.

Understanding of static vs dynamic linking, dependency management, binary distribution, and integration conflicts such as duplicate symbols or class conflicts.

Experience with SDK packaging and distribution using SPM, CocoaPods, .framework, or .xcframework.

Ability to troubleshoot SDK integration, performance, crash, and compatibility issues inside host applications.

Experience with ad tech, mediation SDKs, AppLovin MAX, SKAdNetwork, privacy manifests, or monetization adapters is a plus.
