About the role

Original posting from Emma Sleep via Lever

Ready to lead, disrupt and reinvent the sleep industry?

We are Emma – The Sleep Company. Founded in 2015, we have grown into the world’s largest direct-to-consumer (D2C) sleep brand, with a presence in over 20 markets and more than 35 Emma stores across Europe.

Our mission is simple: to develop sleep comfort products that empower our customers to awaken their best every day. Today, our products are trusted by millions and recommended by leading consumer associations worldwide.

It’s our people who bring this mission to life. At Emma, you’ll join a driven, international team that values ownership, collaboration, and continuous knowledge sharing. With colleagues from over 70 nationalities, we combine diverse perspectives with a shared ambition to learn, grow, and create lasting impact, together.

Ready to awaken your best with us?

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our dynamic team as Senior IT Systems Engineer. In this key role, you will oversee and maintain the stability, security and efficiency of our IT infrastructure.

Our team is passionate about leveraging cutting-edge technologies to solve complex problems and drive business success.

What you'll own::

Cloud & Identity -You run the backbone.

You'll take the wheel on our Identity Provider (Microsoft Entra), setting the standard for how users and groups are managed and keeping access control tight and well-governed. Beyond that, you're the one keeping our Office 365 and Microsoft Azure environment running, secure, and continuously optimized - not just maintained.

Endpoints & Assets - You keep every device battle-ready.

From Windows to MacBook, you'll own the full device and endpoint management stack, streamlining deployment through Intune. You'll build and roll out Intune policies that keep every endpoint aligned with our security standards, and you'll team up with Procurement to manage the IT asset lifecycle end-to-end - from onboarding to retirement.

Collaboration & Strategy - You shape how we work.

You'll drive IT operations forward through scripting and automation, and mentor junior sysadmins along the way. You'll partner with teams across Emma on projects that make our business processes sharper and more efficient. This isn't a "wait for instructions" role - you'll make autonomous, strategic calls, including ones that shape cross-team architecture, and help keep every team pulling in the same direction toward company goals.

Who we're looking for::

  • A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 5+ years in a similar role, with strong depth in Azure and Intune.
  • Sharp communication and interpersonal skills — you can talk tech with anyone in the room.
  • Comfort thriving in a fast-paced, ever-shifting environment.
  • A genuine hands-on mentality — you'd rather build the fix than describe it.
  • Solid scripting chops, PowerShell preferred.
  • A mindset of automating everything.

What we offer::

  • A combination of personal and company growth to accelerate your career and help you reach your goals.
  • A career development path tailored to your goals, with access to mentorship, training, and resources that will accelerate your professional growth.
  • The chance to work on exciting and challenging projects as part of a dedicated, international team.
  • A culture of collaboration and innovation, where you’ll have the freedom to implement new ideas, shape processes, and help build the DNA of a maturing company.
  • To work and learn from experts in diverse fields and get to know your team members at exciting company events.

Become an Emmie

We are on a mission to become No.1 in the world of sleep, and we’re looking for driven, ambitious people to help us shape what’s next. If you’re curious, hands-on, and ready to challenge the status quo, you’ll find the space here to make things happen and create real impact.

We are proud to be an equal opportunity employer and are committed to building an inclusive workplace. We celebrate diversity and consider all qualified applicants regardless of race, ethnic origin, religion or belief, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, national origin, disability, or age.

Our aim is to get back to you within a few days. Due to the high volume of applications, there may be slight delays, but we’ll get back to you as soon as possible.
