About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Senior Manager, Tax to lead tax structuring, tax compliance, and financial modeling for our growing pipeline of data center projects.

In this role, you will serve as the primary subject matter expert on partnerships and tax equity structures. You will collaborate closely with Finance, Legal, Real Estate Development, and external consultants to optimize tax benefits, mitigate risks and ensure tax compliance. This role reports to the Senior Director, Tax.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the tax structuring and execution of complex tax equity investments, joint ventures, and project financing partnerships.
  • Direct and review financial models for project partnerships, analyzing tax allocations, capital accounts, outside basis, and cash/tax waterfalls.
  • Analyze complex technical issues, including Investment Tax Credits (ITC), depreciation schedules (MACRS), and Section 754 adjustments.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in federal and state tax laws affecting renewable energy and partnership taxation.
  • Coordinate with external tax advisory firms to ensure accurate preparation of tax returns, Schedule K-1s, partnership tax allocations, and audit defenses.
  • Serve as the key bridge between Real Estate Development, Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and Legal teams on partnership tax-related matters.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, and a minimum of 7 years of corporate or partnership tax experience. A master’s degree and CPA or J.D. certification preferred.

Compensation Range

Compensation will be paid in the range of up to $145,000 - $175,000 + Bonus. Restricted Stock Units are included in all offers. Compensation to be determined by the applicant's knowledge, education, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
