About the Role
Conduent is seeking an Oracle DBA to manage the full lifecycle of Oracle database systems, ensuring availability, performance, and data security. The role spans on‑premises and cloud environments and requires deep knowledge of Oracle technologies, scripting, and collaboration with development and infrastructure teams
Responsibilities
Provide Database Administration support for business-critical applications in production and non-production environments.Ensure DB availability.Administer Oracle Databases on different operating systems including but not limited to: RHEL and Windows. Install and configure Oracle Server 19c/23i RAC on multi node systemsConfigure and maintain Oracle Cloud Control. Upgrade Oracle databases.Create a reliable backup strategy. Ensure database backups are appropriately executed Proactively manage and maintain security standards and controlsApply Oracle patches that involve security patches / bug fixes in non-production and production environments.Administer Oracle Goldegate, create extract, replicate, monitor replication, troubleshooting.Ability to Implement Security measures include SSL and encryption. Develop and support database maintenance scripts. Develop and maintain database design and support documentation.Ability to configure Active Data guard and automatic failover using Data guard Broker.Ability to configure container and pluggable databasesProvide 24x7 on-call support.
Requirements
Oracle Database Administration Professional with more than 7 yr experience.Experience with Oracle Cloud Control 13c or laterOperating system experience in Linux3 yr experience with Oracle Golden Gate3 yr experience with administration of Oracle RACOracle management tools (Data Guard, Active Data Guard, RMAN, Data Loader)Experience with administrating database on Exadata and AzureOracle Partitioning. Strong unix scriptingGood problem solver.Excellent communication skills, Self-starter, ability to work in a team as well as take individual responsibility.

In addition to base pay, this position, based on business need, may be eligible for a bonus or incentive. The estimated salary range for this role is $85,470 - $111,000.
