About the role

Original posting from Linda Werner & Associates via Greenhouse

We are seeking an experienced Senior Paid Media Channel Manager to lead the strategy, execution, optimization, and performance of enterprise paid media channels across paid social, paid search, and programmatic advertising.

This highly visible role will own paid media channel roadmaps, oversee campaign measurement and technical integrations, manage agency partnerships, and drive performance across multiple business lines.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in paid social advertising at scale, strong technical knowledge of digital advertising infrastructure, and a demonstrated ability to translate marketing objectives into measurable business results.

This opportunity offers the chance to help shape paid media operations within a fast paced, evolving enterprise technology marketing organization focused on innovative AI powered business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

Paid Media Strategy & Channel Optimization

Own paid media channel roadmaps and quarterly optimization strategies across paid social, paid search, and programmatic advertising.

Identify performance gaps, prioritize optimization opportunities, and implement improvements to drive measurable results.

Translate business objectives into channel performance targets, KPIs, and execution guidelines.

Establish testing strategies to evaluate new channels, ad formats, audience approaches, and measurement capabilities.

Campaign Management & Portfolio Oversight

Oversee paid media investment across multiple products, campaigns, and business priorities.

Manage campaign budgets, spending, pacing, and performance reporting.

Develop and maintain a centralized paid media calendar covering campaigns, launches, and regional initiatives.

Coordinate campaign timelines, resource allocation, and prioritization across concurrent workstreams.

Ad Technology, Tracking & Measurement

Oversee campaign trafficking, tracking implementation, conversion APIs, pixels, UTM governance, and naming conventions.

Establish campaign quality assurance standards to ensure accurate tracking, targeting, and measurement.

Manage audience segmentation, activation, governance, and ongoing optimization.

Partner with marketing technology and operations teams to support advertising platform integrations, CRM connectivity, and marketing data flows.

Identify and resolve technical or measurement challenges impacting campaign performance.

Testing, Analytics & Performance Reporting

Design and execute structured testing roadmaps with defined success criteria.

Analyze campaign effectiveness, audience performance, bidding strategies, creative performance, and conversion optimization.

Provide actionable performance reporting covering campaign efficiency, budget pacing, lead generation, and pipeline contribution.

Translate performance data into strategic recommendations for marketing leadership and cross functional stakeholders.

Develop best practices, benchmarks, and playbooks to improve campaign effectiveness.

Cross Functional Collaboration & Agency Management

Partner with integrated marketing, product marketing, marketing operations, analytics, web, SEO/SEM, and organic social teams.

Align paid media initiatives with broader marketing strategies and business objectives.

Oversee agency and vendor execution, including campaign briefs, timelines, deliverables, quality standards, and service expectations.

Support account based marketing (ABM) initiatives, including account list activation and targeted media campaigns.

Coordinate regional campaigns while maintaining consistent brand standards and measurement practices.

Required Qualifications

8+ years of paid media experience with direct ownership of channel strategy, roadmaps, and performance.

Extensive experience managing paid social advertising at scale, with working knowledge of paid search and programmatic advertising.

Strong technical expertise in campaign trafficking, conversion tracking, pixels, conversion APIs, UTM parameters, audience onboarding, and campaign QA.

Experience managing paid media calendars, competing priorities, budgets, and resources across multiple stakeholders.

Demonstrated success developing and executing structured testing and optimization strategies.

Hands on experience collaborating with marketing technology and marketing operations teams on system integrations, marketing data flows, and campaign measurement.

Experience overseeing external advertising agencies or vendors, managing deliverables and performance expectations.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret performance data and communicate actionable insights to leadership.

Excellent organizational, project management, and written communication skills.

Ability to operate independently in a dynamic, fast paced environment with evolving priorities.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience in enterprise B2B technology marketing, particularly AI, SaaS, cloud computing, or technology platforms.

This individual understands how to scale paid social campaigns, optimize advertising infrastructure, implement rigorous measurement standards, and coordinate multiple marketing initiatives simultaneously.

Candidates with primarily brand marketing, creative strategy, or content marketing experience without substantial paid media ownership are unlikely to align with the requirements of this position.
