Overview

Maplebear Inc. D/B/A Instacart in San Francisco, CA seeks Senior Product Manager, Discounting Platform (Multiple Openings). Employee may be stationed anywhere in the continental United States but will report directly to Instacart headquarters in San Francisco, CA.

About the Job

Lead the design and execution of innovative technical and analytical solutions to optimize and scale world-class e-commerce products with a focus on the strategic vision for promotional systems that drive customer acquisition and retention. 

Duties include: 

Analyzing business goals, market needs, and technical requirements to develop product roadmaps and key metrics for discounting features

Analyzing redemption rates, ROI, and other metrics to optimize performance

Planning and executing product research, usability studies, and functional experiments to identify areas for improvement, forecast results, and inform product direction

Designing self-service tools and scalable integrations to assist business partners in providing more offerings to customers; working cross-functionally with engineering, data science, and marketing to launch new promotional capabilities

Other duties as assigned.

About You

Minimum Qualifications

Master’s degree in Business Analytics, Marketing Analytics, or related field (or foreign equivalent)

2 years of experience in the job offered or related

2 years of product management experience overseeing roadmap strategy, definition, and end-to-end product delivery and negotiating tradeoffs

2 years of experience working with cross-functional teams to identify new roadmap opportunities and software product improvements

2 years of designing and developing large-scale software products in deeply technical domains

2 years of experience developing metrics and KPIs to measure product performance

2 years of experience executing and analyzing user research, usability studies, and data-driven experiments

2 years of experience using SQL or similar analytical tools to develop data-driven recommendations for product development

2 years of experience working with APIs, microservices, and web application technologies
