About the role

Original posting from Outset via Ashby

Outset invented a better way to do research: AI-powered user interviews.

Global brands like Hubspot, Microsoft, Uber and Nestle use Outset to achieve deeper, qualitative insights about their users at unprecedented speed and scale.

The research industry is massive (>$140B and growing) and ripe for disruption. Incumbents are outdated, slow, and burdened by high-cost services. That's our opportunity.

Outset is backed by top Silicon Valley investors and raised a $30M Series B in December 2025—less than six months after our Series A—led by Radical Ventures with participation from M12 (Microsoft’s venture arm), 8VC, Y Combinator, and Adverb Ventures.

The raise follows a breakout year, with our business growing 8x as enterprise customers across industries adopt our category, AI‑moderated research, as the new standard for understanding people.

We’re a tight-knit team serving some of the world’s largest enterprises.

As a Senior Product Solutions Partner based in London, you'll be a core part of Outset's UK presence, working with enterprise customers across the UK and Europe. You'll partner closely with our Account Directors, researchers, and GTM and engineering teams in the US.

You'll have real autonomy. Many of the day-to-day calls on recruitment, study readiness and customer questions will be yours to make in real time. This role suits someone who wants high ownership and a hand in shaping how the world's largest brands run research with AI.

Note: This role will begin remotely but eventually will be 4 days a week onsite.

Responsibilities

  • Consult on study design and content. Review discussion guides, screeners and study setup alongside customers and our research team. Flag risks and recommend improvements before a study goes live.
  • Manage participant recruitment for your customers' studies. Scope feasibility, decide on the right panel partner and approach, manage quotas and timelines, and solve hard-to-reach audience challenges.
  • Build deep relationships and expertise with our panel partners. Work within our centrally managed partnerships to become the go-to person on what works in UK and European markets.
  • Be a trusted advisor to customers' research and insights teams. Help them navigate the platform, troubleshoot issues and get the most out of AI-moderated research.
  • Create best-practice guides and help center content. Collaborate with CSMs on customer workshops and enablement sessions.
  • Act as the team's eyes and ears in the UK. Bring customer insights, market context and feedback back to the broader Outset team, so that product, GTM and operations stay aligned across time zones.
  • Design and improve processes using automation and AI. Streamline our internal workflows, stay on top of new platform capabilities, and work out how to help customers adopt them and do more themselves.
  • Bring commercial awareness to your accounts. Spot expansion opportunities and risk signals early, and partner with Account Directors to act on them.

Qualifications

  • 3–5 years' experience in research operations, market research, fieldwork or panel management, expert networks, consulting, or an adjacent field.
  • Hands-on experience with participant recruitment, ideally across global markets
  • Experience with client-facing work and managing and communicating with external stakeholders
  • The ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy. You make sound decisions without waiting for sign-off, and you know when to escalate.
  • Experience building or improving processes, not just following them.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication. You can adapt your message for audiences from insights leaders to engineers.
  • You pick up complex software quickly and can explain it simply to non-technical users.
  • Strong organisational skills and comfort managing multiple workstreams in parallel.
  • Nice to have: additional European languages.
