How we Work

We move fast, debrief quickly, and expect you to own your output. This is a dynamic company, we value speed and decisiveness over process. You'll have the context you need to make good decisions, and the autonomy to make them.

This role follows a hybrid model. We ask that you're in our office in Monterrey 3 days per week.

About the Role

Mexico moves billions in trade value with the rest of the world every year — and most of that value leaks through hidden FX spreads, tax inefficiencies, and treasury friction that legacy banks and brokers never solve for. As Senior Sales Executive- Global Logistics Payments, you'll own Tensec's charge into this market, turning your logistics and trade relationships into a growth engine for our agentic FX and payments infrastructure. You'll be the person converting invisible cost into visible savings, and visible savings into TPV. You bring the relationships and the credibility in global trade and logistics; we bring the FX, payments, and compliance firepower to help you close. This is a build-the-territory role for someone who wants outsized ownership over a market Tensec is just beginning to unlock.

Core Responsibilities & Essential Functions

  • Account development and TPV Growth. Identify, engage, and close carriers, freight forwarders, and commodity traders operating Mexico's trade flows with markets across the Americas, Europe, and Asia, building multi-threaded relationships across commercial, treasury, operations, and compliance stakeholders. You will own Total Payment Volume growth from Brazil's global trade flows, deepening account penetration and expanding into adjacent international trade lanes.
  • Payments & FX positioning. Position Tensec's cross-border structures against client-specific cost structures, translating cross-border payments and regulatory intelligence into a quantified commercial case.
  • Enterprise deal leadership. Own complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles from first meeting through pilot, activation, and expansion, managing champion coalitions and deal risk across global accounts touching the Mexico corridor.
  • Market intelligence feedback. Channel market signals global corridor economics, freight and trade dynamics, regulatory shifts, back to product and compliance to sharpen the corridor offering.
  • Compliance-aligned activation. Partner with the compliance function on KYB, regulatory alignment, and onboarding to move accounts from signed to live under Tensec's compliance requirements.

To Thrive in This Role, You Have

  • Deep industry expertise. 8+ years of progressive enterprise sales or business development experience in international transportation, logistics, freight forwarding, or global supply chain, with a proven record of establishing industry relationships, and closing large, strategic accounts through consultative, multi-stakeholder sales cycles.
  • You speak your customers' language. Established relationships and firsthand experience selling into Mexico's international trade, global supply, logistics, and freight ecosystem, you know how carriers, freight forwarders, and shippers actually run their business, and you can hold a credible conversation with a commercial or operations lead from the first call.
  • Required languages. Native or near-native fluency in English and Spanish.

Compensation, Benefits and Perks

  • The compensation package for this role includes base salary and a variable compensation component.
  • Health insurance
  • Meal vouchers
  • Paid time off and local statutory holidays
  • Learning and development budget

This role follows a hybrid model. We ask that you're in our Monterrey office 3 days per week.
