About the role

The company provides VPS and dedicated server hosting for FX brokers and traders.

We are looking for a reliable, hands-on Senior Systems Administrator who can support customer-facing infrastructure and contribute to technical improvement projects.

This is a long-term part-time role for someone comfortable working independently with production systems, customer issues, and business-critical infrastructure.

Responsibilities

Administer and troubleshoot Windows and Linux servers.

Support Microsoft Hyper-V and VMware environments.

Diagnose issues with Dell and Supermicro servers.

Resolve customer incidents involving VPS, dedicated servers, virtualisation, and connectivity.

Maintain Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy, backups, and monitoring.

Support data centre infrastructure, storage, and networking.

Participate in upgrades, migrations, and infrastructure improvement projects.

Maintain clear technical documentation and follow change-management procedures.

Requirements

7+ years of systems, infrastructure, or data-centre experience.

Strong hands-on experience with:

Windows Server and Linux;

Hyper-V and VMware;

Dell and/or Supermicro servers;

Server and virtualisation troubleshooting.

Strong customer-facing experience in technical support or infrastructure operations, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical users.

Experience in data centres, hosting, managed services, or another 24/7 infrastructure environment.

Good understanding of networking, storage, backup, and disaster recovery.

Strong spoken and written English.

Reliable, organised, and comfortable taking ownership of issues through resolution.

Working hours & availability

The role requires approximately 10–15 hours per week, with availability during 10:00–18:00 CET as needed. The schedule is flexible, but the ability to respond and support the team within these hours is important.

Nice to have

VPS, dedicated hosting, or IaaS experience.

iDRAC, IPMI, SAN/NAS or Veeam.

PowerShell, Bash, Python, or Ansible.

Experience in fintech, trading, telecom, broadcast, or other mission-critical environments.

Engagement

Independent contractor.

Approximately 10–15 hours per week.

Remote, primarily during European business hours.
