POSITION SUMMARY

As a Site Coordinator based in the Netherlands, you will report to the Project Delivery Leader – Benelux while working closely alongside Project Managers on site to support the successful delivery and commissioning of critical infrastructure projects. Your primary focus will be on our GSA’s (Global Strategic Account), where you will be embedded on-site to drive day-to-day coordination of installation and commissioning activities across multiple Lines of Business (Thermal, Electrical, Integrated system solutions).

In addition to your GSA responsibilities, you will collaborate with Project Managers across the Benelux region on other client projects as required — assisting with scheduling, logistics coordination, subcontractor management, and site-based activities.

You are the operational link between the project management delivery team and the site — ensuring that plans translate into action, dependencies are identified and unblocked early, and that nothing falls through the cracks. You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and take ownership of your responsibilities without needing to be chased.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Work hand-in-hand with on-site Project Managers as the central coordination point for all Vertiv installation and commissioning activities on various project locations.

Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, delivery teams, and Vertiv engineers across multiple Lines of Business in close alignment with project leadership.

Track and manage inbound OEM equipment deliveries, staging, and placement in collaboration with logistics teams.

Maintain and update project schedules, trackers, and delivery milestones.

Proactively identify risks, blockers, and dependencies — escalating to the on-site Project Manager with actionable solutions.

Attend client and internal meetings, capture concise minutes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.

Coordinate with QA to ensure snag lists, punch items, and quality issues are documented, tracked, and resolved.

Support document control on-site, including delivery notes, inspection records, and commissioning documentation.

Liaise with the client's site team to align on access, permits, schedules, and site logistics.

Provide ad-hoc support to Project Managers on other Benelux projects as directed by the Project Delivery Leader, assisting with scheduling, resource coordination, and subcontractor arrangements.

Support project administration tasks including progress reporting, cost tracking inputs, and variation order preparation.

Step in to cover site coordination duties on other projects during peak periods or PM absence.

Champion a strong H&S culture on-site at all times, ensuring compliance with local Dutch H&S legislation (Arbowet), client site rules, and Vertiv HSE standards.

Support workplace inspections, toolbox talks, subcontractor safety audits, and verify valid inductions, permits, and certifications for all personnel on site.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum 2 years of experience in a site-based coordination, logistics, or project support role within construction, data centres, or critical infrastructure.

Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines simultaneously.

Proven ability to collaborate effectively with Project Managers and cross-functional site teams.

Good communication skills in English (written and verbal); Dutch language skills are an advantage.

Practical, hands-on approach with a proactive mindset — you see what needs to be done and take initiative.

Dependable, committed, and comfortable working on-site with day-to-day autonomy.

Flexible and adaptable — willing to travel to other project sites across the Benelux region or beyond as required.

Valid EU work authorisation for the Netherlands.

Preferred: Experience working on data centre or mission-critical facility projects.

Preferred: Familiarity with MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) installation and commissioning processes.

Preferred: Working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, Smartsheet, or similar planning tools.

Preferred: Experience with multi-trade coordination on active construction sites.

Preferred: VCA (Safety for Operational Supervisors) certification or equivalent, alongside familiarity with Dutch site safety standards.

PHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS

Ability to work on active construction sites, including wearing required PPE at all times when on site.

Comfortable working in varying environmental conditions (indoor/outdoor, temperature variations).

Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines.

Flexible approach — role may require occasional early starts, extended hours, or weekend work to meet project milestones.
