Backed by top investors, we’ve secured a dozen Department of Defense contracts and partnered with major airlines to deliver mission-critical systems. We operate without silos or heavy processes. Small, focused teams own what they build, ship quickly, and learn fast, pushing the boundaries of how humans and AI work together in aviation.

Role Overview

We are seeking an iOS Software Engineer to join our mobile team and help build high-impact iOS applications that support our flight safety platform. In this role, you will work closely with senior engineers, designers, and product managers to develop user-facing features and contribute to production systems. You’ll grow your iOS expertise while working on real-time, safety-critical applications that advance flight safety and operational efficiency.

What You’ll Do

  • Design and implement iOS features using Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, and modern iOS frameworks.
  • Work with senior engineers to build and maintain reliable, high-performance mobile applications.
  • Integrate with internal and external APIs to support real-time data and application functionality.
  • Collaborate with designers and product managers to deliver intuitive, user-friendly mobile experiences.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established iOS best practices and architectural patterns.
  • Help ensure code quality, performance, and maintainability through testing and documentation.

What Will Make You Successful

  • 2+ years of experience developing iOS applications, or equivalent experience through internships, projects, or coursework.
  • Experience with Swift and SwiftUI, with some exposure to UIKit and common iOS frameworks.
  • Familiarity with asynchronous programming concepts such as async/await, multithreading, or GCD.
  • Basic experience working with networking, APIs, or real-world data sources.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and eagerness to learn from feedback and mentorship.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-moving environment.

Bonus Points

  • Passion for aviation and a desire to improve air travel efficiency and safety.
  • Exposure to mapping or spatial frameworks such as Mapbox or MapKit.
  • Interest in real-time data, sensors, or hardware-adjacent systems.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD workflows or cloud-backed mobile systems.

Work Location

This is a hybrid role based in San Carlos, CA, with 3+ days per week onsite and the option to work remotely on remaining days.
