Review financial information and supporting documentation from cross-functional teams to validate the accuracy and completeness of accounting records.

Maintain organized, well-supported workpapers for internal and external audit requests.

Identify opportunities to improve accounting workflows, including through the thoughtful use of AI and automation tools.

Collaborate with Finance and cross-functional partners on accruals, payroll, financial reporting, and process improvement initiatives.

Learn and navigate accounting systems such as NetSuite, FloQast, and Zip.

Participate in accounting projects and other ad hoc initiatives as needed.

What You'll Bring to the Table

Foundational knowledge of accounting principles and financial statements.

Experience preparing journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, or variance analyses.

Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage deadlines during a time-sensitive close process.

A structured, systems-oriented approach to breaking down and documenting processes.

Curiosity and willingness to question the status quo and identify opportunities for improvement.

Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Designated CPA or working towards obtaining your designation.

Experience with NetSuite, FloQast, Zip, or another ERP or accounting system is an asset.

Experience using AI or automation tools to improve accounting processes is an asset.
