About the Role

We are looking for a Strategic Finance GTM Lead to drive decision-making behind Candid Health’s GTM motion. In this role, you will be a senior thought leader to our enterprise selling motion in partnership with our Sales, Marketing, Operations, and Leadership team. Success will be determined by your direct impact on business results, specifically your ability to grow our topline in multiples over the coming years.

This role is unique: a combination of finance and revenue operations responsibilities. You will own GTM business planning and forecasting, define pipeline and success metrics, and provide insights into channel and portfolio-level performance and unit economics. You will also lead deal desk and pricing, design compensation plans, and partner with senior leadership on growth capital decisions to maximize growth.

What you’ll be doing

Own end-to-end GTM planning, strategy design and execution through multiple interdependent responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning & Analysis: Own forecasting for bookings and sales capacity planning driving annual plans, quarterly forecasts, and monthly reporting.
  • Deal desk & pricing: Building pricing frameworks and strategies to optimize our unit economics vs volume growth.
  • Metric design and success measurement: own metric design / definition, goaling and grading, performance evaluation covering: channel and function level ROI / payback, entire Sales pipeline (TOF → BOF) inclusive of lead generation reach and stage win rate / conversion, customer segmentation, marketing metrics / performance
  • Insights analysis and deep dives: Run deep dives and analyses into funnel, channel and overall GTM performance. Identify key friction points, work with corresponding stakeholders to design & implement solutions and measure results
  • Build excellent, scalable processes: build systematic approach to continuously evaluate strategy and execution: run pipeline reviews, deal assessments and corresponding corrective actions
  • Executive communication: own end-to-end narrative for GTM performance. Work with the Head of Finance and senior leadership team to build and executive core GTM strategies.
  • AI-Enabled Forecasting: Leverage AI-driven tools / systems to automate variance analysis and rolling forecasts, allowing you to focus on the strategic questions rather than tracking performance.

Who you are

  • Experience: 6-10 years of finance experience (strategic finance, investment banking, and/or private equity), including prior experience managing GTM finance for a multi-channel enterprise (B2B) selling motion.
  • Analytical Powerhouse: You are driven by innate curiosity to get to “the why” and to understand root cause and are comfortable leveraging big data sets to inform decision-making. You have high proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets, but you are also comfortable using SQL to pull your own data.
  • Communication: You can translate dense financial data into a compelling story for non-finance stakeholders. You don’t just present options - you have a point of view on what action should be taken and you’re not afraid to share it. The ideal candidate combines deep financial expertise with practical operational leadership and is comfortable partnering with executives on long-term strategy.
  • The "Multiplier" Mindset: You are a "player-coach" who wants to build the templates and systems yourself. You proactively look for ways to use AI and automation to make our financial planning process 10x faster and more accurate.
