AVATR is currently looking for a UI Motion Designer to help our innovative team creating rich, immersive in-car digital experiences, where visuals move not just on screen, but emotionally. What you will do:
Design high-end UI and motion for in-car digital experiences
Create expressive light-based and 2D/3D animations that feel intuitive and emotionally engaging
Translate UX ideas into visual stories and motion-driven concepts
Collaborate with design, lighting, and engineering teams across Germany and China
Contribute to futuristic interface concepts and help define a consistent motion language
Stay inspired by emerging trends in motion, interaction, design, and real-time tech
What you will bring:
5+ years of experience in motion design, UI design, or interaction design for digital products.
Self drive and autonomous working style with direct reporting
A strong portfolio showcasing motion work: especially 2D, light-based, or 3D animation with a refined aesthetic
A sharp eye for detail and a strong sense for premium, elegant, and emotionally engaging design
Proficiency in tools like After Effects, Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (experience with Blender, Unity, or Unreal Engine is a plus)
A solid sense of timing, rhythm, and visual storytelling
Strong collaboration and communication skills (English is must, German and/or Chinese is a plus)
Degree in Motion Design, Visual Communication, Interaction Design, Game Design, or a related field or equivalent relevant experience
Experience in automotive, connected products, or high-end tech design
Nice To Have:
Background in real-time environments, lighting design, or interactive storytelling
Familiarity with cross-cultural teams or experience working internationally
