About the Role

Day-to-day, you will lead analyses to help develop product features that address key consumer pain points, working closely with Product Managers, Engineers, Researchers and Data Engineers. You will lead a dedicated data science team tasked with analyzing business and product performance, as well as designing and conducting experiments, and contributing to product planning. This role sits at the heart of our mission; your work will directly impact hundreds of thousands of people by helping them access the care they need and stay with it long enough to truly get better. This is a player-coach role, where we expect you to both guide analysts’ work as well as drive your own projects

Required Qualifications

  • 10+ years of related professional experience.
  • Bachelor (or higher) degree with background in Data Science Math, Economics, Computer Science, Statistics or other quantitative fields
  • 5+ years of experience in data analytics or data science, supporting multiple ends of a business with analytical recommendations (i.e. Sales, Clinical Operations, Finance, Customer Experience, etc.)
  • Solid people management experience, building and leading teams and developing talent
  • Demonstrated ability to translate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders; strong data storytelling
  • Deep experience with statistical analysis and A/B testing
  • Deep understanding of product analytics metrics (e.g., retention, conversion, engagement, churn) and marketplace balance metrics, with experience translating them into actionable insights.
  • Expert in Python and/or SQL, as well as familiarity with data visualization tools (Looker, Tableau, etc.)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in high growth startup and/or consumer digital marketplace
  • Prior experience in healthcare
  • Ability to connect analytics insights to business strategy, influencing product decisions that drive revenue and growth.
  • Experience incorporating AI into Analytics/Data Science workflows
