About the team + role

We are building an elite team, applying frontier technologies to the world’s biggest financial problems. We’re looking for bold thinkers. Sharp problem-solvers. Builders who are wired to make an impact. Robinhood isn’t a place for complacency, it’s where ambitious people do the best work of their careers. We’re a high-performing, fast-moving team with ethics at the center of everything we do. Expectations are high, and so are the rewards.

Robinhood Ventures’ mission is to build one of the best venture capital platforms in the world and make it accessible to investors everywhere. Through our publicly-traded funds in Robinhood Ventures Fund I and Robinhood Ventures Fund II  we’ve already invested in some of the best private companies in the world like OpenAI, Databricks, Ramp, and more - and we’re just getting started.

As an Investment Intern in Robinhood Ventures you will be a core part of our lean team. You will research, evaluate, and support investments across the Robinhood Ventures platform, with a focus on late-stage investments.

This role is based in our Menlo Park, CA office with in-person attendance expected at least 3 days per week.

What you’ll do

Research and sourcing - You’ll research markets and sectors that you believe we should be paying attention to, and then identify the key companies in them that Robinhood Ventures needs to meet.

Investment evaluation - You’ll be a key part of the deal team for investments we evaluate. You’ll own core diligence workstreams like the financial model, competitive analysis, and help shape investment theses.

Platform building - You’ll work with teams across Product, Operations, Marketing, Legal, and more to help build experiences in the Robinhood app to further differentiate Robinhood Ventures for both retail investors and portfolio companies.

Prior experience in investment banking, private equity, or finance at a high-growth company, with fluency in financial modeling, valuation analysis, and market research; late-stage investing or venture capital experience is a plus
