About the role

About the Company

Our client is a rapidly growing coffee roasting and manufacturing business supplying private-label coffee to major US retailers and businesses, including large convenience, restaurant and retail chains.

With significant growth comes an increasing volume of shipments and logistics activity. The company is looking for a proactive Logistics & Routing Coordinator to help ensure orders are delivered on time and any issues are quickly resolved.

The Role

You will work closely with the Operations and Customer Support teams, coordinating freight and communicating with carriers to ensure shipments are progressing as expected.

This is a high-touch coordination role where responsiveness, organisation and follow-through are essential.

You will take ownership of logistics issues, communicate updates internally and work directly with carriers to resolve delays, appointment issues and other freight-related problems.

Key Responsibilities

● Coordinate and monitor freight shipments

● Communicate with multiple carriers regarding deliveries and shipments

● Follow up on shipment status and delivery schedules

● Troubleshoot delivery delays and freight issues

● Resolve appointment and routing issues with carriers

● Obtain and communicate updates on shipments

● Keep internal Operations and Customer Support teams informed

● Coordinate routing information for retail and other customer orders

● Maintain accurate logistics records and updates

● Take ownership of issues from initial identification through to resolution

● Escalate significant issues when required

● Ensure orders remain on track and reach customers on time

● Communicate primarily via email, with phone and Microsoft Teams as required

Requirements:

● Previous experience in logistics, freight, transportation, dispatch or operations

coordination

● Strong organisational and follow-up skills

● Excellent written and spoken English

● Comfortable communicating with multiple carriers and internal teams

● Strong attention to detail

● Ability to manage multiple shipments and priorities simultaneously

● Excellent problem-solving skills

● Ability to work independently

● Strong sense of urgency and accountability

● Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment

● Confident using email, Microsoft Teams and standard office software

The Ideal Candidate:

We're looking for someone who gets things done.

You should be highly responsive, organised and persistent when following up on issues. If a shipment is delayed or something goes wrong, you'll be the person who takes ownership, finds out what happened, communicates the update and keeps pushing until the issue is resolved.

The ideal candidate will be calm under pressure, detail-oriented and proactive, with

excellent follow-through.

You don't need to be an expert in a specific logistics platform — what matters most is your ability to coordinate, communicate and solve problems effectively.

If you're an experienced logistics or operations coordinator who thrives in a fast-moving environment and takes pride in keeping things moving, we'd love to hear from you.

Compensation:

Hours: Part-time with potential to increase to full-time

Working Hours: Aligned with US business hours
