About the role

Original posting from Scott Logic via Lever

This is a client-facing leadership role, offering the opportunity to oversee the technical direction of large-scale, complex technology initiatives while contributing to the growth and development of our consultancy business.

You will typically provide technical leadership for high profile, business-critical projects and programmes, drawing on your experience of solution and technical architecture in diverse business and project environments. You will work with a high degree of autonomy, taking full responsibility for end-to-end solution design and building strong partnerships with our clients.

What are we looking for?:

We’re looking for passionate, pragmatic leaders with hands-on experience of architecting high quality, well-engineered technology solutions that solve tough business problems and deliver lasting client value. We don’t mandate an architectural approach, preferring to find the right combination of methodology, tools and communication styles that work for each client engagement. This means we’re open-minded when it comes to your existing skillset, but we value the following:

  • Strong experience in shaping and leading the architecture of large-scale, complex solutions across multiple applications. Ideally including development of bespoke software solutions
  • Significant experience in enterprise, solution, data, application or cloud architecture
  • Ability to advise on and implement suitable architectural principals and governance approaches across a portfolio of solutions and/or teams
  • Commercial experience including leading on pre-sales work; scoping, sizing and solutioning for new opportunities and creating compelling proposals
  • As a strong communicator with a collaborative approach to work, you’re able to quickly build trust with senior client stakeholders (Director or C-Suite level), and advice on technology strategy and alignment with business goals
  • You embrace the chance to try new things and learn new skills while developing others by sharing your own knowledge and experience.

At Scott Logic, we value the flexibility of remote working alongside the value gained from spending time with our colleagues and clients. In our offices you’ll find employee-led clubs and events, as well as free games, books, and refreshments.

We have shared values that govern our behaviour toward others and the environment. We are proud to be a B Corp, a global movement of businesses driving for a more inclusive, equitable, and regenerative economy.

We believe diversity drives innovation, and embrace a culture where everyone can contribute, irrespective of race, religion, colour, national origin, gender, sexual orientation, age, marital status or disability.
