About the role

Original posting from EGYM via Ashby

Are you ready to transform the corporate wellness industry with us?

We are looking for a Senior Marketing Analyst based Munich to join our mission at EGYM Wellpass. Sitting at the intersection of marketing, operations, and data, you will play a key role in structuring our performance analysis, automating our processes, and guiding strategic business decisions. As the owner of marketing data, you will bridge the gap between our different teams (Brand & Comms, Demand Generation, Sales, RevOps, and SalesOps) to turn data into actionable insights.

YOUR DAILY WORKOUT

  • Funnel Conversion Analysis: You map and monitor the full marketing-to-revenue funnel (first touch → MQL → SQL → opportunity → closed-won), quantifying stage-to-stage conversion rates and surfacing where and why prospects drop off.
  • Lead Lifecycle & Velocity Tracking: You measure time-in-stage and overall funnel velocity, flagging where leads stall and tightening the MQL-to-SQL handoff so pipeline progresses faster.
  • Channel & Content Conversion Insights: You connect conversion performance back to specific channels, campaigns, and content assets to show which ones drive not just volume but genuine downstream conversion, informing where to double down.
  • Segment & Cohort Conversion Analysis: You break down conversion by persona, region, company size, and deal value to reveal where the funnel converts best and sharpen targeting and prioritization.
  • Funnel Forecasting & Friction Diagnostics: You translate conversion rates into forward-looking pipeline and lead-target forecasts, and combine website behavior (e.g., form abandonment, session paths) with CRM data to pinpoint the friction causing conversion loss.
  • Tracking: You design and manage GTM tracking infrastructure (UTM taxonomy, conversion events, pixel/tag implementation via GTM and analytics platforms) to enable end-to-end visibility into campaign and funnel performance.
  • Marketing Attribution: You lead the design and rollout of an in-house attribution model that gives marketing leadership a single, trusted view of channel effectiveness to guide budget allocation and go-to-market investment decisions.

YOUR FITNESS LEVEL

  • Experience: You have at least 4 to 5 years of experience in a similar analytical role (Marketing Analyst, Growth Ops, Sales/RevOps), ideally within a fast-growing environment (Tech Scale-up).
  • Education: You hold a degree in Business, Data Analytics, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Data & CRM Expertise: You demonstrate strong proficiency in Salesforce (our Source of Truth), data modeling, and complex dashboard creation, driven by a strong focus on automation.
  • Communication & Presentation Skills: You have the ability to translate complex data into clear narratives, present findings confidently, and champion recommendations to diverse stakeholders.
  • Strategic Vision: You are able to step back from raw numbers to uncover big-picture strategic growth opportunities.
  • Language Skills: You are business fluent in English (daily working language), with German and/or French considered a plus.

YOUR TRAINING GOAL FOR YOUR FIRST 6 MONTHS

  • Historical Reporting: You structured and automated initial reports based on historical data to provide real visibility for the Brand & Comms teams.
  • Single Source Dashboard: You implemented the first version of a centralized dashboard consolidating all core data sources.
  • Tooling Benchmark: You audited our current tech stack and proposed a roadmap for adopting relevant data visualization or analytics tools.
  • Cross-Team Alignment: You established yourself as the primary data point-of-contact for the Brand, SalesOps, and RevOps teams.

THE EQUIPMENT WE PROVIDE

  • Modern & International: Be part of a modern and international company culture where talent and passion are welcomed, heard, and part of the decision-making process
  • Work-Life-Balance: Benefit from flexible working hours, hybrid working policy (2 office days) and 30 days of vacation per year
  • Continuous Development: Develop your skills with varied, challenging tasks and regular feedback to benefit from a steep learning curve
  • Fit & Healthy: Train for free with EGYM Wellpass in several thousand sports and health facilities across Germany and/or use our in-house gym with EGYM products
  • Benefit Budget: Enjoy a flexible benefit budget of 60 € monthly for your Mobility Subsidy and/or Meal Allowance
  • Discounts: Get a variety of great discounted offers, from fashion to leisure, through our employee benefits portal
  • Bike Leasing: Stay active and use our leasing bike offer on your way to work or in your spare time
  • Subsidized Pension: Profit from our employer-subsidized pension
  • Mentoring Program: Exchange knowledge and grow together across teams and locations through our self-organized mentoring platform

YOUR WARM UP PLAN

  • Screening HR: Initial 30-minute introductory call with Dolihane (Talent Acquisition Partner) to discuss your background and expectations.
  • Case Study: Practical, lightweight assignment based on real business scenarios, followed by a presentation and discussion with Gwenaël Rivet or Nadja Kügler & Julia Hager (VP Marketing) (virtual or in-person).
  • Leadership & Strategic Alignment: 30-minute interview with Maximilian Laker (Director Business Intelligence) to discuss global vision, cultural alignment, and high-performance standards.
  • Leadership & Strategic Alignment: 30-minute interview with our Director Revenue Operations and Business Analytics to discuss global vision, cultural alignment, and high-performance standards.
