  • Collaborate closely with Product, Engineering, Global Intelligence, and Sales to influence the roadmap and improve offerings based on customer and market intelligence
  • Develop and share financial services domain expertise, investigative techniques, and best practices that raise the capability of the wider team

We’re looking for candidates who have:

  • Strong understanding of how banks and financial institutions manage financial crime, compliance, risk, investigations, and digital asset exposure
  • Deep familiarity with blockchain ecosystems, including BTC, ETH, stablecoins and DeFi, and how on-chain data can be used within financial crime, compliance, risk, or investigative workflows
  • Delivered customer-facing technical solutions, whether investigative outputs, data products, or analytical workflows, in complex real-world environments
  • Built insights from large or complex datasets and communicated findings to varied audiences, from analysts to senior banking executives
  • Operated successfully in fast-paced, ambiguous environments requiring ownership, adaptability, and sound judgment

Required Skills:

Technical Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and SQL for data analysis, transformation, and solution development
  • Experience building notebooks, dashboards, and analytical workflows
  • Solid understanding of data modelling, querying, and working with large datasets
  • Ability to quickly develop deep expertise in Chainalysis data structures, schemas, and products

Financial Services & Domain Expertise

  • Substantive experience working with banks or financial institutions is a must
  • Experience in one or more relevant domains, such as AML, financial crime investigations, fraud, sanctions and compliance, risk, cybercrime, or digital asset compliance
