  • Build and ship early prototypes quickly, then refine them using user feedback.
  • Work across practical early-stage product needs, including tasks beyond core modeling and research.
  • Help coordinate machine learning models and advance object detection capabilities.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Hands-on applied computer vision and machine learning experience, including Python and deep learning; the role is open to a range of experience levels.
  • Experience taking an AI system from an initial build through production deployment.
  • Strong communication skills, empathy, candor, and a growth mindset.
  • Comfort with pragmatic early-stage work and challenging problems outside a narrow technical specialty.
  • Motivation to use technology to make housing more affordable, rather than focusing primarily on compensation.
  • U.S. citizenship and willingness to work full-time from the San Francisco office or relocate.
  • Construction or social-impact experience, or a history of building something adopted or paid for by users, is helpful.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS

Base salary is $120,000 to $180,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is not available.
