About the role

Original posting from Lucanet Group

The role and the team

As a Senior Account Executive (all genders), you'll drive new business across the Nordics, covering Sweden, Norway, Denmark, and Finland. You'll sell consolidation and planning, disclosure management (including ESG reporting), and banking and cash management solutions to the Office of the CFO. You'll carry a senior quota, lead complex B2B SaaS deals end-to-end, and run your territory like your own business, from strategy and account planning to signed contract. Based in Sweden and working remotely, you'll represent Lucanet credibly with C-level decision-makers and on stage at industry events. You'll join our New Business team and work closely with Solution Engineering, Professional Services, Partner Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success to move deals forward. Marketing and Business Development support you with demand generation, but you own your pipeline. As a senior individual contributor, you'll also raise the standard of the team: you'll share methodology, coach junior peers, and feed field insight back into product and go-to-market. We look for people who keep growing, take real ownership, and lift the people around them.

What you'll do

Reporting into the Sales leadership team, you will:

Own your Nordic territory like a business, driving strategy, account plans, and cadence to exceed quota.

Lead complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles end-to-end, typically 6 to 12 months with C-level decision-makers.

Build and grow your own pipeline, self-sourcing a meaningful share through targeted prospecting and your network.

Engage CFOs, Heads of Finance, and Heads of Tax independently, linking Lucanet's value to business outcomes.

Structure and negotiate multi-product, multi-year deals within defined commercial guardrails.

Apply MEDDICC with disciplined CRM hygiene and accurate forecasting, managing pipeline risk proactively.

Represent Lucanet as a speaker at industry events, customer conferences, partner forums, and webinars.

Coach junior peers, contribute to onboarding, and run a quarterly enablement session on your expertise.

What you bring

You have:

A consistent record of exceeding quota in B2B SaaS, software, or IT solution sales, closing complex multi-stakeholder, multi-quarter deals.

Strong self-sourcing skills, generating at least 30% of your pipeline through your own prospecting and network.

Confidence at C-level and on stage: you negotiate value-based deals and have represented your company at events or webinars.

Fluent use of MEDDICC or a comparable methodology, plus strong command of CRM, sales engagement, and AI-powered sales tools.

A strong network across SaaS, finance, or compliance in the Nordics, ideally built while selling finance, tax, or accounting software.

Experience in a PE-backed or high-growth SaaS environment.

Fluent Swedish and English, written and spoken.
