Position Description

PingWind is seeking a Senior Logistics Analyst to serve as the lead for Logistics Analysis and Process Optimization. The Senior Logistics Analyst provides advanced analytical and technical support for Army logistics and supply chain operations, with responsibility for evaluating logistics performance, identifying process improvements, and developing recommendations that improve operational efficiency, inventory accountability, transportation effectiveness, and mission readiness.

The position provides technical leadership to junior analysts and requires extensive Army logistics experience, including hands-on experience with the Logistics Modernization Program (LMP).

Primary Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Serve as the senior technical lead for logistics analysis and process optimization activities.
  • Analyze Army logistics and supply chain operations to identify trends, inefficiencies, risks, bottlenecks, and opportunities for improvement.
  • Evaluate supply chain performance using operational data, performance metrics, reports, and logistics information systems.
  • Develop recommendations to improve logistics processes, inventory management, material flow, transportation, and overall supply chain performance.
  • Conduct detailed analysis of inventory levels, demand, stockage, material availability, transportation activities, and supply support requirements.
  • Utilize LMP to research, analyze, track, and report logistics and supply chain information.
  • Apply hands-on LMP experience to support inventory, supply, maintenance, material management, and related Army logistics requirements.
  • Analyze inventory performance and recommend actions to improve inventory accuracy, availability, accountability, and efficiency.
  • Evaluate transportation processes, routes, schedules, and requirements to identify opportunities for improved cost, efficiency, and delivery performance.
  • Apply applicable Army supply regulations, policies, procedures, and business rules when conducting logistics analysis and developing recommendations

Required Qualifications

  • Extensive knowledge of Army logistics and supply chain operations.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge and practical experience using LMP.
  • Knowledge of inventory management, accountability, demand planning, stockage, and material management principles.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Military Experience preferred

Salary Range

$65k-$90K
