Position Description

PingWind is seeking a Site Operations Manager, which is responsible for the day-to-day leadership of the assigned site workforce and ensures all applicable PWS tasks are executed accurately, efficiently, safely, and within established performance standards. The SOM serves as the primary site-level management authority and works closely with the Program Manager, Government representatives, and contract personnel to maintain mission readiness, resolve operational issues, and ensure successful contract performance.

Primary Responsibilities

Typical Responsibilities/Tasks:

  • Provide direct management and oversight of assigned Fort Bliss warehouse operations or Huntsville analytical operations.
  • Lead, supervise, and coordinate the day-to-day activities of the assigned site workforce.
  • Ensure assigned PWS tasks, requirements, deliverables, and performance standards are completed accurately and on schedule.
  • Translate Program Manager and Government priorities into actionable site-level work assignments.
  • Plan and coordinate staffing, workload distribution, schedules, resources, and operational priorities.
  • Monitor employee performance, productivity, attendance, quality, and compliance with established procedures.
  • Provide employees with clear direction, coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Identify operational problems, workflow constraints, staffing concerns, and performance deficiencies and implement timely corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with the Program Manager and Government representatives regarding site performance, emerging requirements, risks, and operational issues.
  • Maintain effective communication among employees, leadership, Government stakeholders, and other operational locations.

Required Qualifications

  • Strong knowledge of FAR and DFARS requirements applicable to Federal and Department of Defense contracts.
  • Expertise in Government contract and program management.
  • Strong understanding of Army logistics operations and requirements.

Desired Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in supply chain management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Military Experience preferred

Salary Range

$75k-$104k
