This role sits at the heart of our Finance Operations team, partnering closely with the Finance Operations Team Lead to drive accurate, timely reporting across the US business, from revenue through to gross profit. Taking ownership of the US scope, this position plays a key role in delivering reliable financial reporting, leveraging strong Excel skills to streamline existing processes and identify opportunities to work smarter. Acting as the primary point of contact for the US team while working within our UK Finance team, this role combines attention to detail and continuous improvement with a collaborative, team-first mindset. It’s a position for someone who takes ownership, supports those around them and thrives in a team that pulls together to meet deadlines and deliver results.

Responsibilities include

Own the monthly revenue and cost-of-sales close, including preparing and recording revenue, cost of sales, and gross margin journal entries across the group’s entities

Prepare and validate revenue and cost accruals, ensuring revenue is recognized in the correct period in line with policy

Reconcile revenue and cost of sales to supporting platform, billing, and partner/supply data, investigating and resolving variances

Prepare gross margin bridges and revenue/cost of sale variance analysis with supporting commentary following each month-end close

Support billing accuracy and revenue completeness, tying billed revenue back to contracts, IOs, and platform reporting

Reconcile intercompany revenue and cost flows, and support intercompany recharges tied to revenue and margin

Partner with revenue operations, sales, and commercial teams to resolve pricing, billing, and recognition questions

Support compliance over revenue and cost of sales, including audit requests, confirmations, and controls around the revenue cycle

Identify opportunities to streamline and standardize recurring revenue and margin close processes

What You Will Bring

Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a comparable field; ACCA or ACA candidate or equivlanet is a plus

5+ years of accounting experience, ideally including revenue and cost of sales in a multi-entity or intercompany environment

Hands-on experience with revenue recognition and month-end revenue/cost of sale close

Experience reconciling revenue to billing, platform, or partner data, ideally in media, adtech, or a high-volume transactional business

Experience with NetSuite (or a comparable ERP) strongly preferred

Strong Excel skills; comfort building and maintaining recurring reconciliation and margin workbooks

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple recurring deadlines, especially during the first week of each month

Clear written communication skills for variance commentary and cross-functional collaboration

“Hands-on” mentality and comfort working independently in a remote, multi-entity environment
