Role Overview:

We are seeking a versatile Freelance Marketing Designer with strong graphic design, web design, and digital publishing skills to produce visual assets across digital, print, and social channels. This is an independent contractor role that covers both larger projects and smaller tasks with quick turnaround times. You will take creative briefs and turn them into finished assets, from web graphics and diagrams to trade show materials, and publish content directly to the company website. The ideal candidate is self-directed, solves problems without heavy oversight, and is comfortable with modern AI-assisted creative workflows.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design web graphics, video thumbnails, iconography, promotional images, and illustrations for the website and social media based on provided briefs
  • Source and edit images for use across web, email, and social channels while following brand guidelines
  • Create diagrams and visual explainers to support product and marketing content
  • Export production-ready files in JPG, PNG, PDF, and vector formats
  • Design business cards, brochures, banners, signage, and booth materials for trade shows
  • Prepare print-ready files that meet vendor specifications, including bleed, color profile, and resolution
  • Publish and format articles and blog posts in WordPress, including images and layout
  • Manage and organize digital assets within the website and content systems
  • Submit work for review and revision before publication or print, and flag questions, risks, or delays early

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign
  • Proven experience publishing and managing assets in WordPress
  • Ability to build a webpage from a wireframe
  • A portfolio demonstrating both digital and print design work
  • Ability to work independently on a per-need basis without daily oversight, and to take an open-ended brief through to a finished asset
  • Comfortable following brand and style guidelines across a wide range of asset types
  • Strong written and spoken English with a clear, professional communication style
  • Must have prior remote work experience, be fluent with remote collaboration tools and platforms (such as Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, Asana, or similar), and have ideally worked with US or UK-based companies. Applications without this experience will not be considered.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Working knowledge of AI prompting and AI-assisted design or content workflows, such as Claude skills and connectors
  • Experience publishing weekly promotional content on Facebook, LinkedIn, Instagram, and X in line with a social media strategy
  • Short-form video editing skills for highlight reels, shorts, and social media promos from provided footage
  • Experience with HubSpot and Figma
  • Content marketing and social media marketing experience
  • Experience in the AV, video, or B2B technology industry

Please NOTE:

It is crucial that you complete the application form in full. As part of the application process, you will be required to record a video.
